Indoor Soccer (Futsal)

Join us for Indoor Soccer (Futsal) this Fall season.


Futsal is an amazing sport that is fast paced and requires high energy. It simulates the outdoor game but indoors, with touchline boundaries, with small sided games (5-vs-5) and a smaller ball (size 4). VSSC uses a low bounce ball which promotes more ball control.


Spaces are very limited this season, early registration is encouraged to secure your night of choice. We will be adding more team spots as game locations confirm rental availability (some facilities are delayed as of Covid re-opening).

Registration Deadline is Tuesday, September 7 @ midnight!

COVID-19 Protocol & Guidelines

We are committed to providing the highest levels of safety for our community.  Take some time to read our mandatory 'Safe Return to Play Protocol & Guidelines' for all activities. 


COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination: Provincial Health Orders require proof of vaccination be provided for access to public and private recreation facilities. Starting September 13, you must have at least one dose. By October 24, you must be fully vaccinated.  You'll be able to show your proof of vaccination easily using the B.C. vaccine card website.

Start / End Dates

Tuesday: Starts Tuesday, September 21 and ends on Tuesday, December 7.

Starts Wednesday, September 22 and ends on Wednesday, December 8.

Starts Thursday, September 23 and ends on Thursday, December 16.

League start and end dates are subject to change. VSSC endeavors to provide registered players and individuals with as much notice as possible should changes occur.

12 games (10 regular season games + 2 playoff games).

Estimated Game Times

Game length is 55 minutes.

Start times rotate between 6:00pm and 10:00pm. 

VSSC makes every effort to ensure teams receive a mix of game times and locations (where applicable).

Bye Dates

There are no games on:

  • Thursday, November 11 (Remembrance Day)
Price & Registration Options

Team Registration:  $635.00 + GST (that’s just over $7 per player, per game, based on an average team roster).


Individual Registration: $105.00 + GST (that’s under $9 per game!)


Team Registrants:  After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings once it is posted.   


Individual Registrants:  You will be placed on a roster of individuals two days before your first game. For ease of communication with our office, teams must select a captain, co-captain, and Team Safety Ambassador (TSA) on our website to represent your team.

Rosters & Schedule

# of Players on Court & Suggested Roster Size

5 players on the court including 4 players and 1 keeper (minimum 2 male and 2 female).


Suggested roster size is 7-9

Roster Requirements

COVID-19 LEAGUE MODIFICATIONS - Each sport has specific mandatory roster requirements. 


Indoor Soccer (Futsal): 

  • As a result of capacity limits, each team roster size must not exceed 9 players at each game.
  • Substitute players are permitted.
  • All players on your team (including substitute players) are required to sign the waiver and must show on your team’s roster online.
Team Safety Ambassador (TSA) COVID-19 LEAGUE MODIFICATIONS - All teams must assign a Team Safety Ambassador (TSA) for the season. 

The TSA must be a registered player and identified using the “TSA” label in your online roster.

Teams are required to bring their own official Futsal ball to every game. Balls will not be provided on-site. Teams are required to wash/sanitize the game ball before the game, at half-time and after the game.  Do not share your game ball with other teams.

If needed, Futsal balls are available to rent from VSSC. A refundable deposit is required ($75) and payable online with credit card at the time of league registration and in your shopping cart. Click here to view equipment pick up details.
